Your ZG program includes physical fitness conditioning classes appropriate to your fitness level. Based on your Health Risk Assessment and your ZG fitness assessment, the Exercise Science Department will provide you with your personalized, customized fitness plan. During your first 10 weeks (which we call HLP) you will exercise for one hour, three times per week. Your hour long exercise sessions led by certified personal trainers includes a half hour of strength training, and a half hour of cardio followed by stretching. When you transition to Continuation (the continuing of your health journey), your exercise classes, still led by trainers, will become longer and more challenging as you become more fit. The emphasis is always on ensuring safety and effective physical conditioning.
