The Initial Health and Fitness Assessment InDepth Medical Hx. Laboratory Testing Medical histories are reviewed by Madge Zacharias, MD or a health care professional, in order to prescribe appropriate exercise and nutrition plans Cholesterol Profile, Triglycerides, Fasting Glucose, and A1c Initial Measurements Weight, Body Measurements, Resting Heart Rate, and Blood Pressure Body Fat Percentage Our InBody Bioelectrical Impedence Analysis Machine measures the impedance of each segment of the body at multiple frequencies to determine the Basal Metabolic Rate, Percentage of Body Fat, Intracellular and Extracellular Water Components, and Segmental Lean Development. An Exercise Specialist administers the test and provides an instant analysis of the results. VO2 Assessment VO2 Max is a measure of cardio-respiratory endurance or aerobic exercise capacity and is estimated with a submaximal VO2 test. This test is administered by an exercise specialist using a treadmill or Nustep (recumbent bike/stepper). Results are graphed and printed with ZG proprietary software. We are in the block between the Boulevard/Hermitage Rds and Brook Rd which run parallel to each other and between Westwood Ave and Palmyra Ave which also run parallel. If you know where the Diamond, Sports Backers Stadium and the Arthur Ashe Center are off of the Boulevard, we are just north of there; heading north on the Boulevard, you take the 3rd right onto Westwood Ave from the Boulevard (right across the street from Kitchen 64) and we are halfway up the street, on the left side. You will see our driveway entrance side sign and our largest parking lot is on the Westwood side of our building. Our weekly medical lectures are held in the basement amphitheatre of Virginia Hall, which is part of the Baptist Theological Seminary Building Complex on the same block. Entrance to Virginia Hall is from Lamont Ave., or the side that faces our ZG Building.
