Job Title: Registered Dietician
• Department: ZG KEY Medical: Reports to the Medical Director(Dr. Madge Zacharias), and Zacharias Ganey Health Institute (ZGHI) CEO (Mary Jane Ganey).
• Description:
• Provides individual nutrition counseling to help members at ZGHI develop nutrition plans to achieve lifestyle objectives. Assist individuals with plans to achieve glycemic control.
• Counsels on nutrition guidelines and meal planning for weight loss with consideration of comorbidities.
• Educates individuals on medication impact, exercise, and nutrition as it relates to glycemic control.
• Assists in developing Group Education Sessions on Diabetes Management and Meal Planning.
• Becomes part of Teaching Staff at ZGHI for health and weight management lectures.
• Works as part of a team to grow the Weight Management and Preventive Health Care Programs at ZGHI.
• Bachelor's degree / Registered Dietician required
• CDE (Certified Diabetes Educator) desired (not required)
• Teaching Experience desired (not required)
• Interest and Experience in Preventive Health Care and Weight Loss and Diabetes Management preferred
• Experience: Preferred experience in individual nutrition counseling and weight management.
