Bio - Tracey Adler, DPT, OCS, CMTPT

Tracey Adler, DPT, OCS, CMTPT, received a BS in Physical Therapy from Georgia State University in 1979. In 1984, after doing research on abdominal and pelvic pain, she received a MS, specializing in orthopedic physical therapy, from the Medical College of Virginia. She was Board Certified as an Orthopedic Specialist in 1993 and recertified in 2003. In 2007, Tracey completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the Medical College of Virginia campus at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Adler has concentrated on patients with chronic pain in the spine, jaw, pelvic/abdominal area, and general musculoskeletal dysfunctions. Dr. Adler began using trigger point dry needling on her patients in 2003. In 2007, she received international post-graduate certification in Dry Needling from Myopain Seminars and Janet G. Travell, MD Seminar Series. She has advanced training in dry needling of trigger points and manual therapy techniques. Tracey is on the adjunct faculty at MCV/VCU and an instructor with Myopain Seminars.
